1 John 4 LOVE

Good morning friends,

Concluding our series of meditations on love, we pray today with 1 John 4.

“Beloved, let us love one another, because love is from God; everyone who loves is born of God and knows God”

Everyone who loves knows God. This knowing is a deep sense, not knowing with our minds, but understanding intrinsically, having an experience of, God. Everyone who loves, who gives time and energy and heart-engaged presence in service and respect for the other is born of God.

How, and to whom, am I being invited to give myself away in love?

Every blessing dear ones.

Prayers for the US in this election week.

Much love.

  1. Thank you, Lissy. So much to reflect on. I will be meditating on this again a few times this week. Interestingly, my church’s sermon tomorrow is on this passage.

  2. I love it when things come together that way. Thanks again for the suggestion Ian.

I'd love to hear from you!
