Stargazing: A Guided Meditation

Our July ‘travels’ continue with this guided meditation, under the night sky.

In this guided meditation we will imagine ourselves lying under a clear night sky, taking in the great expanse of the stars, while a small campfire crackles nearby.

You are invited to sit or lie down, to put on headphones or not, to enjoy this on your own or with others.

The purpose of this guided meditation is to possibly encounter God in a new way. We move out of your thinking minds and into our experiential self. The mindful stilling we open with should also help you to relax and feel more centered, which again, can open us to having a meaningful encounter with God.

Is there a way in which you particularly need strength just now? My your encounter with God and your own deep stillness nourish you.

Contemplative at Home offers guided meditative prayer – space to slow down and listen to the truth that is being born out of God’s love for you today – drawing on Ignatian spirituality and at times, Lectio Divina.
