John Chapter 1

The first chapter of John is a sweeping sermon addressing Christology: who Jesus is from the dawn of time, what God's purposes are for him, how Christ engages with ordinary people in an ordinary place, and who John the Baptist is. It is truly jam-packed. The invitation from me here isn't to dive in academically (though that is fun, and please do go do that too if you feel drawn), but instead to attend these words with your deeper self, from your creative heart centre. This is an invitation to be present to the Lord as you would be to a lover: with your whole self attuned, open, available. May you meet your True Beloved here.
