Poem for the Third Sunday of Easter

Malcolm Guite is an Anglican priest and a prolific poet, song writer, singer and guitarist. He often uses regular poetic forms of rhythm and rhyme like the sonnet to express some of the deepest truths that are difficult encapsulate.

Here he shows Jesus to us this Easter 2020, in the very middle of the pain and mess and suffering that is everywhere and reassures us that those dying now are risen with him, risen indeed. Let this help us picture the person of Jesus present in all the most tragic situations confronting us right now.
