Hello friends!
Here we are… at the launch of the Contemplative at Home podcast.
Thank you to all of you who listened to the pilot episodes which I published last year under the name “Lectio Divina Podcast”. Your encouragement and feedback has led to the launch of re-named Contemplative at Home Podcast. Thank you so much for being here thus far. Your companionship is a gift.
To those of you who are new, you are warmly welcome! If you’d like to some background on the way we pray here or are curious as to what this is all about, you might find this episode a helpful place to start.
In this episode you will hear:
– about the contemplative prayer method used in this podcast
– why I’m taking the time to publish these podcasts
– how to get the most out of the prayer experience
Following from here, I hope to publish a new prayer session at the end of each week.
I very much offer all the efforts of this project to the Lord, for His glory. I trust that it will find its way into the right ears and hearts at the right time.
As Paul wrote to the Corinthians: “All who contemplate the Lord’s glory with unveiled faces, are being transformed into his image with ever-increasing glory, which comes from the Lord, who is the Spirit.” 2 Cor 3:18 NIV And to that, all I can say is “Yes, please!! Let’s pray!”
Every blessing, friends.
I am so appreciating your podcasts. Is there an easy way to access past podcasts? I would especially like to hear the transfiguration one again
Thank you Fey! You can search on the website for past episodes, try typing ‘transfiguration’ into the search function. Podcast platforms also have a list of past episodes, though some (eg apple podcasts) only hold the 50 most recent. If you would like me to send you a link to the transfiguration episode, let me know!
