CAH 04 Jesus Restores Life

So he went to her, took her hand and helped her up. The fever left her and she began to wait on them.  Mark 1:31

Simply, quietly, lovingly, immediately

Jesus restores this woman

to health, to life, to her place in the community

Can you imagine the look in Jesus’ eyes as he helps her up?

Is there something in you that needs to be healed?

If you feel drawn to take the time to pray with this passage, I hope that you will come away feeling encouraged, restored, and renewed in a deepening trust in the Lord’s great love for you.

Every blessing friend.

  1. thank you for the gift of this 20-minute journey, liss! beautifully done & spirit-filled. xo

  2. I know I’m a little late in discovering these podcasts!
It struck me that Jesus actually came alongside the woman, came to her bedside. The bible has lots of examples of people going TO Jesus for healing, for themselves or sometime else. As someone who is limited by illness and spends a lot of time in bed, it’s such an encouragement to know Jesus comes to me, and it doesn’t matter if I don’t have the strength. After all, it’s not about me, it’s about Him.

  3. Hi Claire, so glad to hear this has been of encouragement to you and thank you for your observation. Yes, He comes, and his gift is His presence. May He continue to sustain you, especially on the harder days. Sorry to be so slow to reply! Lissy

  4. Thank you for creating this podcast! I was happy to find a way to meditate on God’s Word, rather than “emptying my mind” during meditation. Your voice is soothing and the way your read the scripture slowly lets it really enter my mind, heart, and spirit. May you be blessed to be a blessing!

  5. Hi Tara, thanks so much for letting me know that this has been helpful for you! I really appreciate it!

I'd love to hear from you!
